According to the Jobs and Salary Report, employers value internship experience (80%) and part-time job experience (50%) when hiring fresh graduates. But, as undergraduate students, who are new to the labor market, searching for good internships and full-time jobs may come as a difficult task. That’s why it’s a good thing that the number one social media site offers you an easy fix!

Facebook groups have become a popular online meeting place for companies to look for potential employees and for job-seekers to seek internships and full-time jobs.  Its use has evolved from connecting friends and family to matching fresh grads or college students with the appropriate companies. If you are currently searching for a good internship or full-time work, consider looking at these 3 Facebook groups:

DLSU Jobs and Internships / University of the Philippines Jobs and Internships / UST Jobs and Internships
If you’re a DLSU, UP, or UST student, these groups are for you.

These groups are unofficial platforms where companies post internship or full-time job offers for DLSU, UP, or UST students. DLSU Jobs and Internships has 16, 661 members, University of the Philippines Jobs and Internships has 9,551 members, UST Jobs and Internships has 12, 517 members. Most of the posted job offers are Metro Manila-based internships for undergraduate students; though, at times full-time job offers for new graduate students get posted there.

If you’re not a student from these schools, you can try to join one or all of them. The admins of each group aren’t strict in regulating the acceptance of each member, so you are free to search for job offers so long as you obey their rules and regulations.

    Development Sector Jobs – Philippines
If you’re looking for full-time positions, then this group is for you.

A closed group with 127,319 members, Development Sector Jobs - Philippines houses multiple companies and organizations of different needs concerning their employees. In this group, you can find full-time positions in the government, private companies, NGOs, and the like. Moreover, you can find job offers in different locations in the Philippines, be it in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Startup PH: Jobs
Startup companies are always looking for new employees, which is why a group is created to match startups with job searchers.
